Rising Star Jake Satow Talks About Hulu’s ‘The Dropout’, Folk Style Wrestling, Not Acting in School Plays and being a Regular Teenage.
Jake Satow is one of those kids who has his head on straight. It could quite possibly be because his parents are educators in the State of Ohio as his mother, Dr. Satow is a special education teacher and his father is in educational policy. It could also be that the younger Satow is involved in sports and his a wrestler, which creates a level of discipline like no other combat sport in the history of humanity (personal bias noted).
Luckily, for Satow, he has that one fun aunt in the arts that helped him with his creative spirit, coaching him for his first audition set him on the path to finding a way between the arts, academics and athletics.
The 16-year-old actor makes will appear in the much anticipated HULU limited series, ‘The Dropout’, premiering March 3, 2022, on the streaming platform, starring alongside, Amanda Seyfried, Michael Ironside and William H. Macy. He also reveals what it was like to be driven around by Seyfried on set because he wasn’t old enough to be behind the wheel during filming.
