Aiden Sinclair and Apparitionist, Michael Rangel Discuss their new Theatrical Séance aboard the RMS Queen Mary, ‘57 Ghosts‘.
For those unfamiliar with the legacy of the Queen Mary, docked in Long Beach, CA, this sailing vessel had made over 1001 Transatlantic trips from the 1930s to the 1960s, prior to her retirement. Of those voyages, there have been 57 recorded deaths upon the ship, which is why the theatrical séance presented by Aiden Sinclair and performed by Apparitionist, Michael Rangel is aptly titled, ‘57 Ghosts‘.
‘57 Ghosts‘ is part show, part spiritualist experience where 13 to 18 guests will be taken on a mini tour of the Queen Mary, be introduced to the story of Jackie and how the hauntings became public. Following mini tour, Rangel will take the guests into the séance, where a tarot reading will be conducted as well and an attempt to speak with Jackie (or on St. Valentine’s Day, the Woman in the White Dress), they mystery and intrigue takes you back to the 1930s for an adventure with the great beyond.
In our conversation, Sinclair and Rangel take us through the legends of the haunting of the Queen Mary and the little girl named Jackie who haunts the ship, but apparently did not pass away onboard. As part of the conversation, we delve into the history or the hauntings, how much of these event is theatrical versus true spiritualism, why the age restriction is 16 and above, along with who should really be attending these events.
‘57 Ghosts‘ runs three nights a week from now through summer, which will be extended to five nights a week, come June, 2024.
