Netflix He-Man and the Masters of the Universe, Netflix’s new He-Man series brings the power on September 16, 2021
We learned from our interview with Kevin Smith that He-Man is going in 3 primary directions, there’s Masters of the Universe: Revelation, which is a spiritual continuation for long-time He-Man and MOTU fans, the upcoming live-action film for a broad audience, and now the Netflix He-Man and the Masters of the Universe CG-animated series aimed for a new generation of fans. It’s a bit surprising that Netflix is launching another He-Man/MOTU series before Part 2 of Revelation, but Revelation has primed many for more MOTU and the crisp design and fluid animation of the new series looks like a fun ride. As a kid from the height of MMPR fandom, I can’t help but be intrigued by the morphing-like aspect of this new series and very excited to check it out.
