Project xCloud Gaming is moving to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and brining over 100+ games directly to your mobile device.
Today, Kareem Choudhry, corporate vice president of Project xCloud at Microsoft, published a blog announcing more details about the cloud gaming experience becoming available with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate in September at no extra cost. I’ve personally checked out the Beta for xCloud and am in awe of what it’s doing. Honestly, I believe it’s going to be the future of gaming. Being able to fully play Gears of War 5 or Destiny 2 off of my phone was amazing. With the combination of Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, it will just about complete the circle. I’ll get more into xCloud and other services like Stadia some other time. But xCloud being added to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate is a truly remarkable feature to be added. That means all the games you have access to through Xbox Game Pass Ultimate will now also be completely accessible on your mobile devices.
