UPDATE: Sony Pictures has pulled all promotional material for The Interview from their YouTube page.
I don’t know what to make of this. Just yesterday Sony pulled The Interview from its Christmas release date, as well as issued a statement that they had no plans for the film, VOD, DVD, or otherwise. Earlier today, for reasons not entirely clear, Sony has posted a new promo for the film on the studio’s YouTube page. Whether or not this is signifiying a VOD release or just a promo that they forgot to remove from their schedule is unclear at this time. What we do know is that the saga of The Interview hasn’t reached its conclusion yet.
