VIZ Media releases a new, supernatural story with the release of Black Torch on August 7th.
Jiro Azuma is descended from of a long line of ninja, and he also can talk to animals. One day, he rescues a very unique black cat named Rago, a supernatural being, and is dragged into a secret supernatural war.
The manga features story and artwork by Tsuyoshi Takaki and will be published in print under Shonen Jump. Volume 1 will include a fold-out full-color poster. The series will launch and be available digitally on August 7th via viz.com and the VIZ Manga App. The series will also be available on the Nook, Kobo, Kindle, iBooks, comiXology, and Google Play stores. Expect future volumes to be published on a quarterly basis.
