Sorzeen Switch Grip Case Review – The Sorzeen Soft Grip Case for the Nintendo Switch makes holding the Switch a lot more comfortable
The Nintedo Switch is honestly one of the greatest consoles. It’s full console experience and full portability. That being said, it is not one of the most comfortable things to hold for long periods. Luckily people make Nintendo Switch Grip Cases. The Sorzeen Grip Case is one of the best overall grip cases available. Is lightweight, grip feel, and adaptive functionality, are the reasons why my review of the Sorzeen Switch Grip Case will be so positive.
The grip case is made of silicone which makes it lightweight and offers shock-resistance and anti-scratch properties. The anti-scratch properties are a bit lackluster as the silicone shines with the oils from your hands almost immediately and does nothing to cover the screen of the Switch. I honestly wouldn’t have even mentioned it if it wasn’t listed as a selling point. The shock-absorption also relies heavily on the direction the shock is coming from. Basically if this thing doesn’t fall backwards onto the grip portions, it doesn’t offer much protection. However, the silicone handles make it lightweight and extremely comfortable to hold. The lightweight makes a huge difference over long periods of time, which a lot of gaming sessions tend to do. Lastly, the silicone adds the perfect amount of friction so the Switch remains in your hands even in the most rigorous of gaming sessions.
The best feature of this Switch Grip Case is that it is also thin enough to leave on and still be dockable. You can see it in the image above, the grip case is still on and the Switch is snugly docked in its cradle ready for full home entertainment system integration and use. So players can pick up or dock their Switches with no friction in the process. It’s a subtle feature, but one that makes a huge difference. It’s something you don’t notice adds a huge advantage as you use it, but as soon as you leave the grip case off for a while, you realize how big of a deal it is. Even more impressive, it works even though my Switch is covered in my Toastmade Cover.
The only downside to this grip case, and one that is kind of unreasonable to expect, is that you have to take the case off to remove your Joy-Cons. That’s the only downside to this case. It’s a really specific thing, and one that is definitely a big ask, but that’s what’s keeping this case from being PERFECT. Because its price point is incredibly fair.
The Sorzeen Nintendo Switch Grip Case is perfect for gamers who regularly switch from playing their Switch portable and docked. While the case itself does not do much to increase the physical protection of the Switch, it’s comfort grip will decrease the players’ likelihood of causing damage to it. It also makes holding/playing the Switch portable much more comfortable. The ability to dock the Switch while encased adds incredible value to it, and the only reason you’d need to take the case off is to take out the Joy-Cons. For its excellent performance in function and form, the Sorzeen Nintendo Switch Grip Case gets a 4/5
