Ryan Robbins Returns to the Sniper series as Zero discussing Sniper: Rogue Mission, available on Tuesday, August 16, 2022.
Robbins has been in two of nine Sniper films returns as Zero and this time goes rogue when a corrupt agent is involved in a sex trafficking ring. What was most surprising in Sniper: Rogue Mission, was that as heavy a subject matter this is, especially in an action film, there is still levity within the storytelling that must be credited to writer-director, Oliver Thompson.
The film very much falls in line with events of the past several years coming to light with the Jeffrey Epstein/Ghislaine Maxwell sex trafficking victims, but like most actions movies, there is a redemption for the victims of these tragic events at the end of the film as big spoiler, the villain gets it in the end.
We chatted with Robbins about the success of the Sniper series, how in the next installment we would like to see Zero shoot a blast double transitioning into a Hi-C and sing the praises of Josh Brener who we believe is a secret free running expert. We also ask will Sniper follow in the footsteps of the Fast & Furious franchise and try to beat them to a musical for the 10th installment and how the 10th film is already being written.
