Quantum Break is a highly-anticipated sci-fi action game exclusive to Xbox/Windows. It is said to be an action game and thrilling live action show with a stacked cast. The cast is comprised of veterans of the comic and fantasy genres: Shawn Ashmore, Aidan GIllen, Paul Serene, and Dominic Monaghan, who all seem to have their likeness rendered in the game.
From the trailer, gloriously set to Nirvana’s “Come as You are,” players will play as Ashmore’s character “Jack Joyce” and have the ability to manipulate time. Unlike many other games, the detail in which you get to interact with the time stopped environment seems phenomenal! The action seems to have a lot of variation, from head on brawls to stealth; Joyce looks to be quite the fighter. Hopefully the story explains that.
Microsoft is extremely confident on Quantum Break and are pulling out the stops to get players interest. Each copy sold will come with a full-game download of Alan Wake for Xbox 360, and there is also a special edition Xbox to accompany the game. Everything seems to be in place for a hit new game franchise. With all of the support, and the teams involved, this might be Xbox’s new big franchise.
