I missed Project Almanac when it hit theaters earlier this year. The night of the press screening I was already obligated to another movie. That’s all irrelevant now because Paramount Pictures has set a release date for Project Almanac to arrive on a Blu-Ray, DVD, and Digital HD. As is the latest trend, the Digital HD version will be available on May 26th, two weeks prior to the physical media date of June 9th.
Directed by Dean Israelite, Project Almanac looked to combine elements from various time travel stories, namely the unintended consequences, presented in the found footage manner that the kids just love these day. Of course, Project Almanac was produced by Michael Bay and his Platinum Dunes, so there’s that.
