Production Designer Aaron Osborne Talks About the New Comedy ‘Candy Cane Lane‘ Coming to Prime Video on December 1, 2023.
Production Designer Aaron Osborne (Kiss, Kiss, Bang, Bang, Strays, Keanu, Love, Simon) got away with murder when it came to creating the images in ‘Candy Cane Lane‘, the new Eddie Murphy family comedy coming to Prime Video on Friday, December 1, 2023.
Osborne took every idea from every Christmas movie made between the 1970s until now and overstimulates out eyes in a good way to every Christmas delight with the confines of a 2 hour movie. The only movie missing from the inspiration for ‘Candy Cane Lane‘ is “Santa Claus Conquers the Martians.’
We spoke with Osborne on how he was able to get away with all these elaborate designs and sets that would have driven any other studio bonkers! (Hint Jeff Bezos has got a lot of money.)
‘Candy Cane Lane‘ is Rated PG and also stars Tracee Ellis Ross, Jillian Bell, Thaddeus J. Mixson, Ken Marino, Nick Offerman, Robin Thede, Chris Redd, Genneya Walton, Madison Thomas, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes, Lombardo Boyar, D.C. Young Fly, Danielle Pinnock, Timothy Simons, Riki Lindhome and Stephen Tobolowsky.
‘Candy Cane Lane‘ comes to Prime Video on Friday, December 1, 2023.
