I’m not jealous of the good people working on The Peanuts Movie. Nothing against them or Charles Schulz‘s creation, it’s just that having been around for so long, Peanuts is beloved by many for many different reasons. They’re naturally backed into a corner where they have to meet the expectations of those who grew up with the characters and introduce them to a whole new audience — it’s a difficult balancing act. But judging by these character posters released for The Peanuts Movie, they at least have the look of the characters down pat. How well director Steve Martino and company can maintain that balance will be seen when The Peanuts Movie hits theaters November 6th, 2015.
