Former MMA Heavyweight, American Kick Boxing Superstar, Pat “HD” Berry makes his Glory Debut against Zack “The Black Warrior” Mwekassa of the Congo. Berry professed he is not a round-two fighter and it’s going to be a one-round fight, while Mwekassa states he’s never heard of Berry.
Colorado welcomed Berry home as he marches to the ring, this is a first time in a long time that Berry has put on 10 oz gloves and he looks leaner than we’ve seen him in the UFC.
The bell sounds, the heavyweights touch gloves and Berry starts in with right cross and a left leg kick, connecting with a right to the head and a barrage of punches to Mwekassa. Mwekassa has some heavy hands of his own driving Berry into the corner, catching the former MMA star’s leg and punching him in the abdominal region eventually forcing Berry to drop to one knee and take a count.
