One would thing that Adrian Morilla would be considered a seasoned fighter after 21 professional
fights, but it looks like an amateur record in comparison to Rungravee Sasiprapa who has 84 professional fights. Morilla swooped Rungravee to the ground, frustrating the veteran, but it as normal in Thailand, fighters tend to start slow as bets are still being placed during the first two rounds.Rungravee looks very calm as as he picks his shots against Morilla, even allowing Rungravee to adjust his trunks between attacks, but continues to stick and move against the more methodical fighter. The second round comes to an end, let’s see if the Thai fighter will open as he applauds Morilla’s efforts in the previous round.
Play time for Rungravee appears to be over as his legs are connecting with more force than in previous rounds. Morilla might have the crowd support his punches seem to have little effect on Rungravee who lands a vision elbow strike before closing out the third round.
Rungravee is now on the attack and has rocked Morilla, letting the Filipino-American know that he’s in complete control of the ring.
At the beginning of the fifth and final round, Rungravee eats a left hook, nods in approve, then dumps Morilla to the canvas. The Thai boxer is now on the attack, but the efforts could be too little too late with the slower first two rounds. Morilla is winded and might have a broken rib from all the stomp kicks he’s eating.
