Katee Sackhoff has become a television and voice over icon in her 25-year career. She has made her mark in pop culture playing Lieutenant Kara “Starbuck” Thrace from 2004-2009 on Battlestar Glactica (BSG), Dahl in the 2013 Riddick sequel and Bo-Katan Kryze in Star Wars: The Clone Wars from 2012-2020 as well as a little too numerous to list.
Recently, Sackhoff has added producer to her resume with Another Life, which she stars alongside Selma Blair in this Netflix science fiction original series that premiered in the Summer of 2019.
On Saturday, November 16, 2019, Sackhoff was honored The Society of Voice Arts And Sciences (SOVAS) with the Vanguard Award for her contributions to the world of voice over as she was presented the award with her BSG co-star, Golden Globes and Emmy award winner, Edward James Olmos. We spoke with Sackhoff following receiving her award (audio interview above).
