Here’s the latest trailer for Jurassic World, Colin Trevorrow‘s revival of the long-dormant dino-franchise. This latest trailer has a heavy emphasis on all the chaos created by tampering with nature, right down to the genetically modified super-dino that they’ve created for some reason. I can say that I’m intrigued enough by the premise, though I won’t go as far to say that this is exactly exciting — sorry, riding a motorcycle besides raptors isn’t exactly doing it for me. Jurassic World is also a big test for Chris Pratt, seeing whether or not he can lead a film that isn’t called Guardians of the Galaxy. We’ll see when Jurassic World opens on June 12, 2015.
Here’s the official boilerplate:
Steven Spielberg returns to executive produce the long-awaited next installment of his groundbreaking Jurassic Park series, Jurassic World. Colin Trevorrow directs the epic action-adventure from a screenplay he wrote with Derek Connolly. Frank Marshall and Patrick Crowley join the team as producers.
Jurassic World will be released in 3D by Universal Pictures on June 12, 2015.
