I’m still amazed at the boffo box office that Jurassic World pulled in. I don’t think anyone would’ve predicted that Colin Trevorrow‘s revival of Jurassic Park would crush the Avengers: Age of Ultron at the box office en route to providing its studio with a record-shattering year. Now the biggest film of the year is coming to Blu-Ray, and like the Indominus Rex, these special features can’t be contained by any human. Of course, any special feature where Chris Pratt elaborates about the ins and outs of Jurassic World will be more than entertaining. But as someone who wasn’t a big fan of the film, I’m most curious to see the deleted scenes that might be able to fill in some of the loose ends of the finished film.
For those most eager to return to the park where nothing could possib-lie go wrong, Jurassic World will be available for purchase on Digital HD on October 1st. For those like myself, that still cling to the tangible aspects of physical media, Jurassic World hits shelves in a Blu-Ray/DVD combo pack and 3D Blu-Ray on October 20th. Just be sure you’re wearing proper footwear when rushing to your local retailer.
