You read that headline right. The American road trip staple, self-billed as America’s Diner, that has been feeding Greyhound passengers from coast to coast for decades, will be shilling for Josh Trank’s upcoming Fantastic Four reboot with their new Slamt4stic menu. It’s perfect really. Crappy looking food promoting a crappy looking movie.
I have about as much of an urge to try it as I do to see the movie. Your mileage may vary. But, they’ve got you covered for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if you’re braver than I. Mostly breakfast, apparently. What a Fantastic way to start the day!
I mean, with names like Fantastic Four-Cheese Omelet and The Thing Burger, how could you go wrong? The Human Torch Skillet will have your ass screaming “FLAME ON!” the next morning. They may want to change the unfortunately named Invisible Woman Slam though. And Punch-Packing Thing Sauce, probably.
They’re also running a sweepstakes where you could win a trip for two to the premiere, complete with airfare, hotel accommodations, travel expenses, and spending money. I’d say that’s ample compensation for eating their food.
The Slamt4stic menu is available at participating Denny’s restaurants now. Fantastic Four hits theaters on August 7th, 2015.
