It’s been a number of years since Harley Quinn wore her iconic domino mask, her entire costume replaced with a sexed up outfit fit for a derby girl complete with dyed hair in pigtails, yet that isn’t stopping DC from marketing her new collection with one. It was announced that much like the V for Vendetta and Batman: The Court of Owls box sets, the new Harley Quinn: Hot in the City box set will come with a mask.
I don’t get this marketing at all, but hey, here’s an easy cosplay option for beginners. And I know it seems I pick on DC, and marketing like this is partially why.
Just in time for Suicide Squad, here’s a mask she doesn’t wear in it?
Okay.
Don’t get me wrong though, what Jimmy Palmiotti, Amanda Conner, and Chad Hardin have been doing with this series has been insanely fun and well worth picking up, mask or no mask.
