Title: Grayson #18
Writer(s): Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing
Artist(s): Geraldo Borges and Roge Antonio
Release Date: March 23, 2016
I have to admit, I was a little lost with Grayson #18 as this is the first book in the series that we have ever seen for review, but as far as I can decipher, all Hell has broken loose at Spyral and the former Robin is caught in the middle as Helena aka Huntress goes out of her way to save the students at St. Hadrian’s Finishing School.
Alliances are forged and old friends become enemies as Helena is nearly killed by Bronze Tiger, Grifter and their goons all the while H.I.V.E. is planning for another takeover.
Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing were the writing team on this one and the feel of Dick Grayson was far more Peter Parker. There are only so many smart ass comments you can cram into one book and I think they exceeded the limit. Roge Antonio and Geraldo Borges complement the writing style of this series and balanced out the story of what’s going on.
I wish I had some back issues to fully understand what’s going on with this series, but I am sure I can catch up by issue 19.
Grayson 18 is out today online and at your local comic shops.

The Verdict
I was a little lost, but once I figured out what was going on the story was getting good.
