The world premiere of the Gotham Knights trailer from DC FanDome
It’s been over five years since Batman: Arkham Knight came into our homes and closed out one of the most incredible game series of all time. Next year, we’ll get Gotham Knights which looks to be the follow up to the harrowing ending of Arkham Knight. The Gotham Knights trailer appears to pick up right at the end of Arkham Knight. Batman has passed, and he leaves the protection of Gotham to his progenies, Batgirl, Nightwing, Robin, and Red Hood. The game looks to once again elevate the action-adventure genre by adding more heroes to play as and an encompassing co-op mode.
Personally, I’m really hoping it’s Tim Drake as Robin. I feel like he often gets overlooked and him growing into Red Robin or Drake would be a cool arc to add. This also leaves a lot more room for Damian and some potential returns of certain characters. But other than that, I’m excited about the Court of Owls. It’s been a while since I’ve read the arc, but I remember Grayson being a potential recruit into the Court. I really want to see how that will play out in the game and if it will spur any tension or drama among the Bat-Family. Lastly, where’s Alfred?
Gotham Knights is coming to us next year from WB Games. We’ll keep you updated as it goes and be sure to head over to the DC FanDome and take part in the DC rush of content and news.
