Earlier today, Bryan Singer and 20th Century Fox unveiled the first image of Kodi Smit-McPhee as Nightcrawler in the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse. The look of the character is, well, familiar, looking remarkably similar to the last time Nightcrawler appeared on screen in X2. With all the time travel and alternate timelines that are now rampant in the X-Men Cinematic Universe, I guess Kodi Smit-McPhee is just playing a younger Alan Cumming which can go one of two ways.
The film should be gearing up to go into production if it hasn’t already in anticipation of its May 26th, 2016 release date.
