Square Enix launched a new trailer for Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Bligh Below that reveals more of the story and some pretty cool character cards of the main cast. I got to play this game at Comic-Con this year and it was great. Picture a cross between Dynasty Warriors and Monster Hunter. The last time a game felt so fluid when fighting large hordes and giant beasts was Lost Planet 2, only with more focus on melee combat vs gun combat.
Watch the trailer, learn the premise and some general over the game modes, and get ready for Dragon Quest Heroes: The World Tree’s Woe and the Blight Below to release on Playstation 4 on October 13th, 2015.
The game comes in two editions:
- $59.99 Day One Edition that includes 5 in-game items.
- $99.99 Slime Collector’s Edition that features a premium treasure chest-style box containing exclusive physical items and dlc.
Both are available for pre-order through the Square Enix Online Store. The title is also available for pre-order on Amazon.com.
