Chris Jericho went from using the Lion tamer to becoming the code breaker. He started off as the Lion Heart to become the Ayatollah of Rock and Rolla to being recognized as Le Champion. Jericho not only was the first ever World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) Undisputed Heavyweight Champion but the inaugural All Elite Wresting (AEW) World Heavyweight Champion and the founder of greatest faction since The Four Horsemen, The Inner Circle.
On top of all of that, Jericho is an actor, having most recently appeared in Jay and Silent Bob Reboot, is the front man for the metal band Fozzy, hosts his own wrestling cruise called Chris Jericho’s Rock ‘N’ Wrestling Rager at Sea and this week is the co-host of The Last Drive-In with Joe Bob Briggs on Shudder this Friday, April 24, 2020 at 9:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET).
We caught up with Le Champion, discussing wrestling, horror movies, the love of all things entertainment and since Jericho is a duel citizen between Canada and the United States, the possibility of becoming the first ever Prime Minister and President of North America.
The new season of The Last Drive-In is part of April’s Halfway to Halloween Month on Shudder. Other highlights this month include the new series Cursed Films, a new season of Australian slasher Wolf Creek and a special collection of the first eight Friday the 13th movies.
