Who would have thought that after nearly 60 years, Barry Allen could still be told in a compelling story? The Flash’s Rogues have always been unique in that they are the only criminals with a moral code, but now with the migration of The Riddler from Gotham City, who appears to have gotten tired of annoying Batman has occurred, everything must change.
As new challenges arise, The Flash has to save the city without using his speed all the while, the Rogues have been deputized to take him in as a criminal. Unfortunately, all the new surveillance equipment to help keep the city safe was bought from The Riddler’s dummy corporation allowing him to take control of the city, essentially making himself king.
What makes this story fun is that the morality of Central City will be shaken up for stories to come. The comfort of knowing that The Rogues are not killers may have to soon change as The Riddler will not hold to the standards upheld by these anti-heroes/criminals.

The Verdict
Even after nearly 60 years, the Silver Age Flash continues to excite audiences. Van Jensen’s incorporation of The Riddler adds an element that will shake up Central City forcing the Rogues to reevaluate their moral codes.
