Striking Distance Studios and Krafton unveil The Callisto Protocol Red Band Cinematic Trailer
The Callisto Protocol Red Band Cinematic Trailer is absolutely terrifying. But what do you expect from a game from the creators of Dead Space. This next-gen survival horror takes place on Jupiter’s moon Callisto in the year 2320. The game challenges players to escape the maximum-security Black Iron Prison and uncover its horrific secrets. I’m guessing a prison in the middle of space is experimenting on its high expendable inmates. Striking Distance Studios and Krafton will be bringing this single-player survival horror masterpiece to PC and Consoles in 2022. So, players will still have over a year to ponder and anticipate the dark secrets of Black Iron Prison.
“The Callisto Protocol is the culmination of decades of experience building AAA games,” said Glen Schofield, founder and CEO of Striking Distance Studios. “We’ve built a world class studio of passionate developers that is ready to once again tackle one of our all-time favorite genres—survival horror. We’re setting out to make one of the most terrifying games of all time, and we can’t wait to share more about The Callisto Protocol next year.”
The Callisto Protocol is set to be the first game of Striking Distance Studios, a 150-person team of industry veterans. The game is being published globally by KRAFTON, Inc.. I suspect this will have a lot of gamers playing with the lights on or with other people in the room. With over a year to wait, there’s a lot to look forward to, we’ll be sure to share any updates.
