In the latest DC Entertainment animated adventure, Batman Unlimited: Animal Instinct, Batman (Roger Craig Smith), Nightwing (Will Friedle), Green Arrow (Chris Diamantopoulos), the Flash (Charlie Schlatter) and Red Robin (Yuri Lowenthal) must face off against the DC Universe’s animal based villains of Cheetah (Laura Bailey), Man-Bat (Phil LaMarr), Penguin (Dana Snyder), Silverback (Keith Szarabajka) and Killer Croc (John DiMaggio), in order to find out who’s behind the automated animal attacks throughout Gotham City.
This is an amalgamation of the action expected from the Justice League series with the tongue-in-cheek humor of Batman: Brave and the Bold. The team of super villains refer to themselves as “Animalitia,” which Green Arrow lovely refers to them as the “Zoo Crew” instead.
DC Entertainment is able to pack an hour and 17 minutes of fun into one Blu-Ray feature. The digital HD streaming is a great feature while on the go and has a beautiful picture.
Loaded with DC shorts and two bonus cartoons, Batman Unlimited: Animal Instincts is well worth your time and money.
