Happy Valentine’s Day! Now’s the day to hold someone dear to you close, but maybe not as close as Luke Evans has Kelly Reilly in the trailer for the new thriller 10×10. Naturally, director Suzi Ewing‘s thriller isn’t going to give away its whole game in a two-minute trailer, so I would take everything that unfolds in this trailer with an ample grain of salt. What does seem quite apparent, though, is the fact that Ewing is letting Luke Evans unleash his menacing side, something that can be quite powerful as evidenced by his powerhouse performance in Ben Wheatley‘s High Rise.
The object of Evans’ obsessive character is Kelly Reilly’s Cathy, who is withholding some sort of devastating secret. 10×10 certainly looks to be a claustrophobic thriller that will rely heavily on the plotting of screenwriter Noel Clarke and the intensity of the two leading actors. Vertical Entertainment will be captivating audiences with 10×10 when it’s released in theaters and VOD on April 13, 2018 with an exclusive debut on DISH starting March 16, 2018.

Just a few days from opening her new business, Cathy’s (Kelly Reilly) fresh start is interrupted when she is attacked, kidnapped and locked in a room. She assumes the kidnapper wants her body or her life, but he is after something simpler…her name.
