After two years of brutally abusing my leopard print Lux DeVille bag, it was time to move on to something…more tactical. My childhood was marred by me destroying not one, but three Jansport backpacks (you know, the lifetime guarantee ones?). As an adult, my track record is not much better. Constantly on the go, I needed a bag that would keep up with me, and all of my gadgets.
Enter the Handbag of Holding from ThinkGeek.com. Ridiculously ladened with pockets, the bag was most definitely designed with the Geek Girl in mind. Adorned with a small and chic 20 sided die and a tag emblazoned with it’s name, the purse is functional and attractive. The bag is large and has two small exterior pockets, three internal zip pockets, three main compartments and two large exterior pockets.
Two big handles make it easy to throw over a shoulder, as well as a large strap to make the purse a crossbody dream bag. The large center pocket is perfect for an Ipad, Surface, or Chromebook (if you’re behind the times like me). There are plenty of spaces to carry a book, as well as your cellphone, wallet, random pieces of cosplay materials, dice, tissues, lipsticks, sunglasses….it goes on. There is even a clip within the purse for keys, so the wearer doesn’t have to search the bag every time they need their car keys.
I would love to see ThinkGeek.com come out with a whole series of
colors for these purses. As much as the dark olive material matches my wardrobe, a black purse would be even better .
It was worth the $49.99 purchase price, and I’d buy another Handbag of Holding in a heartbeat.
“My childhood was marred by me destroy not one, but three Jansport backpacks (you know, the lifetime guarantee ones?). ” – glad to see your childhood was also marred with a poor education. But then again, you’re lampooning as landed gentry, claiming to be a Lady, so it’s suffice to say you can readily be written off as an imbecile who barely has a working grasp of reality let alone the self awareness of a housebrick. I wonder if in your fantasy world it’s acceptable to pretend to be a doctor too? Or am I putting ideas in your feeble brain?
I go to see everyday a few sites and websites to readd articles or
