Kew Labs UTS-1 the First Invisible Wireless Charger

GameStop, Inc.

The UTS-1 from Kew Labs is the world’s first invisible wireless charger!

UTS-1

I am a huge fan of induction charging, and now that Apple products are starting to use it, most of the people I know are starting to recognize how amazing the technology is. My smartphone, earbuds, and smart watch all rest and charge on a charging pad. It’s extremely convenient to just put your device down and have it charge and read for use. That’s why when I saw Kew Lab’s UTS-1 I geeked out! An invisible wireless charge? I’m sold.

Imagine, just putting your devices down on your desk or coffee table and your devices always being ready. That’s the dream. That’s what the UTS-1 is offering! You sit at your work station, put your phone and wireless ear buds down at the start of your shift, and by lunch they’re all fully charged and ready to go. Or, picture coming home after work and putting your phone down on the coffee table, you go and get ready for your Hinge date, then you pick up your phone and it is charged and ready for that awkward back and forth of meeting up at the restaurant because neither felt comfortable sharing their phone number so you’re using the app to coordinate.  (That example might or might not be real)

The UTS-1 offers an extreme luxury that many probably aren’t thinking about but will come to immensely appreciate. As a long time adopter of induction and wireless charging, there’s a sweet spot of it being incredible or pointlessly more expensive than a charging dock. Kew Labs appears to recognize that and developed the perfect piece of technology for it. Here are it’s official features:

● The world’s first invisible wireless smartphone charger, offering patented technology to provide
optimal wireless charging solutions
● Versatile long-distance charging offers charge power through surfaces of between 18-25mm (~1 inch)
with ease and safety in mind
● Reduces heat damage to lithium-ion batteries in smartphones by allowing to charge more efficiently
than other wireless chargers
● Auto-shutoff when device is fully charged, preserving long-term battery health for your device
● Foreign object detection, overcharge protection, overcurrent protection, and temperature-controlled
shut-off ensure a safe, reliable, and rugged design
● Offers a sleek, no-cord design aesthetic for any home or office space
● Patent-pending audio confirmation technology aids in perfect placement of device for optimal wireless
charging environment
● Easy installation makes setup quick and easy for wireless charging beginners

The UTS-1 looks to be a revolutionary product in induction/wireless charging that offering top of the line technology and versatile options in integration. It is available now for $104.99 USD on KewLabs Site.
