Legendary Voice Actress Tress MacNeille Discusses The Return of The Animaniacs on Hulu.
In 1993, no one knew that Tress MacNeille, Rob Paulsen and Jess Harnell would bring to life, the three characters of Yakko, Wakko and Dot in the as the Warner Bros. siblings and create a legacy that surpassed their initial 99 episode run.
Tress MacNeille spoke with us about the return of The Animaniacs on their new home at Hulu, being the foundational series of the Kids WB line up in the early 1990s and how a show that lasted five seasons retained a 27 year legacy.
MacNeille who was also the voice of Babs Bunny on Tiny Toons Adventures, which created the Kids WB line up, talks about here career, how Dot never went away because of all the conventions, table reads and sing-alongs at these events and remaining close friends with Paulsen, Harnell and Maurice LaMarche after all these years.
We even discuss what story time in the MacNeille household looked like growing up, especially with her having a large family and how one of the greatest advantages of being a voice over artist and actor is that at some point you never have to grow older than 35.

They’re back! The Warner brothers, Yakko and Wakko, and the Warner sister Dot, have a great time wreaking havoc and mayhem in the lives of everyone they meet. After returning to their beloved home, the Warner Bros. water tower, the siblings waste no time in causing chaos and comic confusion as they run loose through the studio, turning the world into their personal playground. Joining Yakko, Wakko and Dot, fan-favorite characters Pinky and the Brain also return to continue their quest for world domination.
The Animaniacs return to the animation world and begins streaming on Hulu, today, Friday, November 2020.
