The Flash is full of Speedsters with Barry Allen, Reverse Flash, Zoom, Jay Garrick, and possibly Wally West some time in a future episode, but now it’s adding Trajectory to that rather long list. TVLine is reporting that Days of Our Lives alum Allison Paige will be coming to the hit show as Central City’s first female speedster Eliza Harmon AKA Trajectory with episode 16 later this year.
Having arrived in town intent on creating maximum chaos, Trajectory’s antics are misinterpreted as having been perpetrated by the Flash himself. Barry thus must quickly! uncover the mystery of who is the girl under the mask — as well as what is driving her mad desire for speed and destruction.
Trajectory originally appeared in the comics starting with 52 #17, dying just four issues later in #21. In the comics she gained her powers courtesy of Lex Luthor’s Everyman Project, but had them rescinded during a battle with Blockbuster which ended her life. The producers are sure drawing from the bottom of the barrel to bring her to the screen, but maybe she can have a longer life on television than she was allowed in print.
The Flash airs Tuesdays on the CW.
