Todd Rundgren has revealed more details about his upcoming Mythic Pacific Retreat, set for August 18-22, 2014 at the picturesque Cambria Pines Lodge, halfway between San Francisco and Los Angeles on California’s scenic Central Coast. What’s the theme of the Mythic Pacific Retreat?
“The theme, dear campers, is you. Everyone has hidden talents, special skills, unusual stories and such. Every day we will showcase a group of campers who will provide the evening’s entertainment. If you have any proposals or special needs, please let us know. We want to keep things flexible to allow for spontaneous interactions to arise.”
Are there any special guests coming?
“Yes, there are. We expect several present and former musical collaborators as well as friends and entertainers who may drop by at the last moment. As we get closer to August we’ll firm confirm some of those names.”
How about activities?
“Aside from the amenities available at the resort, we’ll be arranging day trips to local attractions, such as Morro Bay, local wineries and Hearst Castle.
Can we bring instruments?
“Of course. To ensure that everyone has a chance to jam, we’ll have two, yes TWO venues set up and fully equipped. If you plan to bring more than a personal instrument, please let us know so we can find space for your equipment.”
