We know that Zoom will be the big bad this upcoming season on The Flash, but it appears he won’t be alone according to comicbook.com. WWE wrestler Adam “Edge” Copeland has apparently been cast as Al Rothstein, better known as the size-changing hero Atom Smasher in the comics. But it looks like his TV counterpart is no hero.
One of the most powerful enemies we encounter this season, Atom Smasher has come to Central City to kill The Flash. His incredible strength and ability to grow to enormous size makes him more than a match for Flash and the entire S.T.A.R. Labs team will have to come together to find a way to defeat him.
At San Diego Comic-Con the Flash’s producers said that many superpowered characters will be coming from Earth-2 this season, as opposed the the particle accelerator in the first.
See Atom Smasher in the premiere when The Flash returns October 7th on the CW.
