Amazingly, Ted was one of the biggest R-rated comedies ever released. So naturally, the powers that be would demand a sequel because there’s no better ally to comedy than repetition. Here we have the red-band trailer for Ted 2, which features Seth MacFarlane utilizing his thick, cartoonish Boston accent. While they were certain to add plenty of profanity and jokes about masturbation for the trailer, they seem to have left out the jokes. Then again, I’ve found the humor of Seth MacFarlane to be as funny as walking through a cancer ward. For those who find a pot-smoking teddy bear hilarious, Ted 2 opens June 26th.
The official synopsis:
Seth MacFarlane returns as writer, director and voice star of Ted 2, Universal and Media Rights Capital’s follow-up to the highest-grossing original R-rated comedy of all time. Joined once again by star Mark Wahlberg and fellow Ted writers Alec Sulkin & Wellesley Wild, MacFarlane produces the live action/CG-animated comedy alongside Bluegrass Films’ Scott Stuber, as well as John Jacobs and Jason Clark.
