DC Comics provided news about coming events in the Superman books including a new, six-issue series Coming of the Supermen; a seven-part collection of stories, Superman: American Alien; Justice, the follow-up to Truth, and the continuing adventures of Bizarro and Jimmy Olsen.
Coming of The Supermen by Neal Adams sees Superman facing Darkseid and Kalibak. Fortunately, he gets help from three heroes from Kandor (aka New Krypton). Even Lex Luthor joins in to keep Darkseid from destroying the universe. After all, there is nothing to gloat over if everything is gone.
Max Landis announced Superman: American Alien which will be a collection of seven stories of Clark Kent’s life as an alien, each catching a key moment in his development as a hero. The art in this series will come from Jock, Nick Gragotta, Tommy Lee Edwards, Joelle Jones, Jae Lee, Francis Manapul, and Jonathan Case providing the interiors, while Ryan Sook will be the cover artist.
Justice will pick up after Truth and show what it is like for a de-powered Superman dealing with everyone knowing his no longer secret identity and the Metropolis police department hassling his neighborhood.
Writer Heath Corson gave a sneak peek at coming events in Bizarro as he and Jimmy Olsen continue on their way.
