CULVER CITY, Calif. (April 18, 2018) – A washed up former child star finds himself broke, desperate and down on his luck. With hopes to turn things around, he teams up with a rag-tag group of former TV actors and comic book artists to rob a comic book convention in the comedy SUPERCON, arriving in theaters and on digital April 27 and on DVD June 5. The film is distributed by Archstone Distribution via Sony Pictures Home Entertainment. Directed by Zak Knutson (Milius), SUPERCON stars Ryan Kwanten (“True Blood”), Maggie Grace (Taken franchise, “Lost”), Mike Epps (The Hangover, Resident Evil: Apocalypse), with Russell Peters (Source Code), Clancy Brown (Starship Troopers) and two-time Academy Award® nominee John Malkovich (Best Supporting Actor: Places in the Heart, 1984; In the Line of Fire, 1993).

Synopsis:
A rag-tag group of former TV stars and comic book artists, who make their living working at conventions, decide to steal the loot from a crooked promoter and an overbearing former TV icon.
