Netflix releases the official Super Crooks trailer showcasing the incredible anime adaptation of Mark Millar and artists Leinil Yu’s graphic novel
Netflix has released the official Super Crooks trailer. This anime adaptation of Mark Millar and artist Leinil Yu’s graphic novel of the same name was first announced at Netflix’s TUDUM. The series is about a crew of small-time crooks with superpowers recruited by Johnny Bolt for one last heist. The story will be told in 12 30-minute episodes produced by the Japanese anime studio bones.
The heist genre has already included zombies, it’s about time to involve superpowers as well. Although Endgame did have a time heist, it just didn’t feel like a genuine heist because superheroes were involved. They literally asked for one of the things they were heisting. Heists need lovable outlaws to truly be in the heist genre. *These rules are arbitrary and only to drive the point in this article.
