Revealed today during Sony’s press conference at Paris Game week, Street Fighter V announced it’s release date for February 16, 2016 in North America and Europe. Also everyone’s favorite yogi, Dhalsim has been revealed on the roster.

I think aside from that news, the greatest piece of information revealed about Street Fighter V is of the gameplay. All gameplay related content, like new characters, will be available for free to player. They will have to be purchased via “Fight Money” which is earned in game through activites and daily goals. But it will not cost any out of pocket money. However for the affluent and impatient, all content can be purchased instantly by buying in-game Zenny currency with real world money. However, it has been stated that all gameplay updates and balance changes will be made available to all players at the same time for free. This means that a Street Fighter V player can have the full game experience with only the initial purchase of the game.
