If you are planning to go to Star Trek Vegas, and want to register from the comfort of your home, you need to do your online registration here and now or no later than 3PM on August. It’s not your last chance to register–you can do that on the day of, if you want–but it’s your last chance to register without the lines.
The official Star Trek Convention is at the end of this week, August 6-9, 2015 at the Rio Suite Hotel in Los Vegas. The organizers promise to sell no more tickets than seats in the main theater, keeping the lines down. Attendees can also stay at the hotel where the convention is taking place, cutting out transportation and parking issues. The Event Schedule is up and will be finalized on Wednesday.
They have a long list of cast members from the full Star Trek spectrum of shows. These include Walter Koenig (Chekov), Jonathan Frakes (Commander Riker), Tim Russ (Tuvok), and Michael Westmore (make-up artist for all four shows plus Star Trek: Nemesis) and a whole slew of others.

Pre-Registration on Wednesday
We will be doing pre-registration for Gold, Captain’s Chair, Copper and General Admission Weekend Patrons on the night of August 5th. You have to stand in line.GOLD REGISTRATION will take place at 6 pm to 7:30 pm Wednesday Night
CAPTAIN’S CHAIR will take place at 7:30pm to 8:30 pm
COPPER WEEKEND will take place at 8:30 pm to 9:45 pm
GENERAL ADMISSION and those that missed earlier times can come from 9:45 pm to 11:15 pm
