For the first time on television, Spike recounts the life of King Tutankhaten in the historical dramatized saga, Tut. Follow the ruler as he struggles to lead Ancient Egypt to prominence, as his closest friends, advisors and lovers plot his demise for their own interests. Ascending the thrown after his father’s murder, Tut (Avan Jogia) is forced to marry his power hunger half-sister (Sibylla Deen) in order to maintain the dynasty. Unfortunately for the Living Image of Aten, he is in love with a commoner (Kylie Bunbury), struggling to protect her from the queen’s jealous ways. Tut’s Grand Vizier (Ben Kingsley), his military general (Nonso Anozie) and High Priest (Alexander Siddig) scheme to take the power away from the boy king. Through the six-hour, three-night limited event series, Tut must rise of from easily manipulated prince to be deserving the title of Pharaoh as he expels his kindom from enemies within.
