He’s back. Daniel Craig reprises the role of 007 in the newest teaser for Spectre, the follow up to immensely popular Skyfall. The director of Skyfall, Sam Mendes, is returning, however, he was unable to bring back cinematographer Roger Deakins, who I felt elevated Skyfall from its fairly generic plot. But as far as teasers go, this is almost pitch perfect. They give you just enough information to get you interested and avoid presenting any of the bigger set pieces. While I’m certainly not the biggest fan of Daniel Craig’s James Bond, the fact that Christoph Waltz is the villain of Spectre already guarantees my ticket purchase.
