Over the course of 50 years a whole lot can change. Though James Bond has been a staple of cinema for over 50 years, the character has gone through all sorts of changes. The actors playing Bond change. The geopolitical landscape of the world changes, forcing an evolution of Bond’s villains. One thing that is a constant in Bond films are cars, specifically fast, sporty cars that are on the cutting edge of vehicular technology. While the latest James Bond film, Spectre, is currently filming all over the world, the makers of the film have just released a short behind the scenes look at a car chase through the streets of Rome.
This brief look behind the scenes shows us the latest and greatest in Bond cars with the legendary spy, played once again by Daniel Craig, driving his signature Aston Martin while his nemesis Mr. Hinx, played by wrestler-turned-actor Dave Bautista, drives a sleek new Jaguar. While Craig is absent from the featurette, Bautista shares his thoughts, as does director Sam Mendes, special effects supervisor Chris Corbould, stunt coordinator Gary Powell, and action vehicles technical coordinator Neil Layton.
Spectre is gearing up for a November 6th, 2015 release date worldwide.
