Solar Opposites is set to show us how no matter where we are from, we are all the same… or aliens are better than us and we should be scared of them
From the co-creator, and voice of, Rick and Morty and Mike McMahan, comes the family comedy that’s not suitable for all members of the family, Solar Opposites. This animated marvel focuses on a team of four aliens who escaped their exploding homeworld and crash-landed into a move-in ready home in suburban America. Half the team thinks Earth is awesome, the other half doesn’t. From the trailer, we can see the series shares the iconic asterisks pupils from Rick and Morty as well as the same vivid animation style that promises raunchy and out there gags and storytelling. The animation also leaves high hopes for a crossover, or at least meta-commentary and easter eggs.
Solar Opposites is set to invade our homes May 8th on Hulu. Check out the official press release for more information:
Co-created by Justin Roiland (co-creator of Ricky and Morty) and Mike McMahan (former head writer of Rick and Morty), Solar Opposites centers around a team of four aliens who have escaped their exploding home world, only to crash land into a move-in ready home in suburban America. They are evenly split on whether Earth is awful or awesome. Korvo (Justin Roiland) and Yumyulack (Sean Giambroni) only see the pollution, crass consumerism, and human frailty, while Terry (Thomas Middleditch) and Jesse (Mary Mack) love humans and all their TV, junk food, and fun stuff. Their mission: protect the Pupa, a living super computer that will one day evolve into its true form, consume them and terraform the Earth.
Solar Opposites is executive produced by Roiland, McMahan and Josh Bycel. The series is produced by 20th Century Fox Television. Series regulars include Justin Roiland, Thomas Middleditch, Mary Mack, and Sean Giambrone.

The best way to describe Kevin Fenix is the kid you never tell what the buttons do in video games so you have a chance to win. Being 6’ 4” and Asian, he never really fit in, so he got comfortable standing out. Not only is it easy to find him in crowds, he dabbles in the culinary arts, does a little stand up and improv, and can honestly say Spider-Man is the Jesus-like influence of his life. Kevin Fenix loves dogs, movies, television, comics, comedy, and to shoot people… with video. Fenix will be shooting and making videos here at FanboyNation.
