Si Spencer, Max Dunbar and Ande Parks continue to fan the flames of Slash & Burn as Rosheen moves closer to finding the Matchstick Man.
In this go around, Rosheen is searching for her childhood friend from the orphanage, Pinker, who might know about some of the recent fires being set in the town. Rosheen isn’t just good at her job because she wants to stop fighters, she’s great at her job because she’s got a deep, dark secret…she’s a pyromaniac.
Now, as the sexual tension between her and Detective Morrow grows, the two unravel the mystery at the Riverside Storage Park from the previous issue. What was supposedly a murder could easily be something else, but you will have to read as to just what happened.
This has an amazing flow, it is one of those stories that you don’t want to wait for the next installment because you constantly want to know what happens next. Not since The Walking Dead have I wanted to hold off until the graphic novel is released to read it all in one sitting.
Why do we have to wait so long for issue three? This is torture!
