One of the biggest requests since the start of the Skylanders franchise that developer Toys For Bob has received was the ability to create your own Skylander. This October, your dreams can be your reality in next installment of the Skylanders franchise. Skylanders Imaginators will give everyone the ability to alter every aspect of your Skylander such as: appearance, powers, abilities, names, catchphrases, and theme. Instead of the usual Skylander figurine, players will instead use the new Creation Crystal to summon their creations. In addition to the new Creation Crystals, the game also introduces Skylanders Senseis, which help train your Imaginators by unlocking new weapons or opening secret areas. There are 31 total which will include some reformed villains.
In anticipation of the new game, Activision has kicked off a new contest where players can submit drawings of their own Skylanders to have them represented in the game at launch. All you have to do is to draw your Skylander and submit it on either the Instagram or Twitter accounts with the hashtag #SkylandersArtContest or email it to [email protected]. Skylanders Imaginators will release on October 16th for $74.99 for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, Playstation 3, Playstation 4 and Wii U systems.
