The Boys – VNN Seven on 7 Episode 6

GameStop, Inc.

VNN’s Seven on 7 Episode 6 gives fans the final update for 2021 of what is happening in the world of The Boys

The Vought News Network, VNN, has released Seven on 7 Episode 6 with host Cameron Coleman. The monthly update of all things happening in the world of The Boys returns just in time for Christmas. In this month’s Seven on 7 the surprising news of footage of Gecko selling his “services” to a cleaver-wielding Santa has been released.  Coleman goes on to paint Gecko as a hero-hating individual who stole classified information from Vought’s R&D Department and is attempting to tarnish Starlight’s good name.

We also get news about Queen Maeve’s philanthropic work with the homeless LGBTQ+ community and Eagle the Archer’s career shift to music. It also reveals Black Noir is up and about again after his near-death experience. The most exciting segment came in the form of Homelander himself delivering a message of reassurance to the nation in the wake of Stormfront. We also get our first look at Blue Hawk as he is the new spokesperson for the “Our Sheets” company.

Seven on 7 continues to fulfill its propagandist purposes in-world and serves to be an incredibly hilarious way to keep fans updated on what to expect from Season 3, and potentially what could be covered in The Boys: Diabolical animated series set to premiere early next year. The hilariously poignant satire of a propaganda-focused news station, real-life parallels like the “Our Sheets Guy,” bulletproof backpacks, and the aggressive repeated use of “Merry Christmas” is emblematic of the show’s wit and humor.

First Look at Blue Hawk in The Boys

From what I’ve gathered from the VNN updates so far, is that Season 3 will take place after a noticeable amount of time has passed. Starlight and A-Train are front and center winning the hearts and minds of the public, and Hughie is well into his new job working with Victoria Newman. We also see Soldier Boy featured on the bulletproof backpacks which likely means he’s already a part of the team by the time Season 3 takes place.

But what do you think about this month’s Seven on 7? Did they say Merry Christmas too many times? Do the people who watch these types of news programs get they are being parodied? Do they even like The Boys? Let us know what you think in the comment section or Tweet at us.

The Boys Season 3 is set to release on Prime Video sometime in 2022, but the animated spin-off is set to release early in the year.
