We’ve previously discussed Jon Schnepp’s documentary The Death of “Superman Lives”, What Happened? in our review of the film, finding it to be a love letter to what might have been. Through interviews with such luminaries as Grant Morrison, one of the film’s screenwriters Kevin Smith, producer Jon Peters, director Tim Burton, and many others Schnepp painstakingly paints a picture of what went wrong, and does his best to show why Superman Lives would have been brilliant. He didn’t convince us, but here’s ten minutes from the film to try and convince you.
