The immigrant’s struggle is brought to life in this inspirational trailer for festival favorite Samba, from the acclaimed filmmakers behind The Intouchables.
After losing his father in a construction accident, Samba Cisse (Omar Sy) has to leave his mother and sisters to provide for his family. Moving to France to earn a living he struggles to find work and attain citizenship. That is until he meets Alice (Charlotte Gainsbourg), a volunteer who vows to help him, not realizing they are helping each other in their own way.
Bursting with humor and raw emotion, Samba has already become a critical success.
