The last time I spoke with the producing team of Christa Campbell and Lati Grobman, we discussed their two action movies that were hitting theaters, Angel Has Fallen and Rambo: Last Blood. This time we are discussing their latest film Tesla, staring Ethan Hawke and Kyle MacLachlan as Thomas Edison.
The founders of Campbell Grobman Films have also found success with the Texas Chainsaw Massacre franchise; The Hitman’s Bodyguard starring Ryan Reynolds; The Bleeder, starring Liev Schreiber and Naomi Watts; and Winter on Fire, the documentary they sold to Netflix having won the Toronto Film Festival and received a nomination for an Academy Award that same year.
Their upcoming projects include: The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, starring Ryan Reynolds; The Expendables 4 starring Sylvester Stallone; and Red Sonja, which being directed by Jill Solloway.
